We’ve been feeding our dog Jessie and all of our rescue cats Wellness Food® for awhile. Wellness Pet Food® is grain free goodness, made with only natural ingredients and super nutrients that all my pets love. The benefits of feeding them Wellness is endless and I can see the signs of true pet health for all of them. From healthy teeth, to super shiny and soft coats to overall good health, it’s very noticeable while on a Wellness diet.
Many of you know our pets on Instagram @max_maxthecat. We have a family full of rescue pets and do our part to help cats in need. We feel every cat or dog deserves a chance to be seen and to be helped. We are so happy that Wellness Pet Food gives back to pets in need. They are one of the brands that works with the Wellpet Foundation®.
WELLNESS GIVING BACK AND HELPING CATS IN NEED
The WellPet Foundation® donates money to non-profit organizations that encourage healthy lifestyles for pets through education, action. They honor rescue groups that are dedicated to the wellbeing of cats and dogs that reflects their fundamental responsibility to help pets thrive.
In addition to Wellpets financial contribution, they give back by working with local communities. It’s in these communities that employees live and work and a majority of their charitable and sponsorship activity takes place.
“These are the words that define our work to do the very best for the pets that provide us with unconditional love, trust and companionship. As a company of people who are passionate about animals and community, we established the WellPet Foundation in 2007 to support groups whose goals are similar to our own – helping pets live healthier, happier, longer lives.”
During the recent flooding in Louisiana, the Companion Animal Alliance of Baton Rouge (CAABR) took in approximately 650 displaced dogs and cats. Through it’s WellPet Foundation, Wellness donated 50,000 pounds of food to CAABR and neighboring shelters.
